Swift and improved invitation to video consultations

We hope the sneak-preview of the release notes yesterday pumped up your anticipation for this new release – which you will be able to see, use, and enjoy today in your Visiba Care platform. As we mentioned yesterday, during these critical times, where efficiency and speed in healthcare can make the biggest difference, we are proud to introduce a new, improved, and highly efficient flow to invite participants to a video consultation. You can seamlessly invite patients, patients with a representative, and guest participants* to a video consultation.

⚠️*Please note that inviting guests requires for the patient apps to updated, which is taking place on Monday, April 6th. Your guests will be able to join a video consultation on that date.

In other good news, your patients can rate your virtual clinic in Google Play and App Store straight from your app – increasing your visibility and positive reviews. Enjoy the new Visiba Care!

Healthcare professionals

 

NEW FUNCTIONS:

  • Completely remade and greatly improved way to invite participants to an appointment! Read more about this here.
  • You can now invite guest participants to an appointment, and select which identification method they will use.
    ⚠️Please note that this feature is available in your platform today, but will be effective on Monday, April 6th, when the patient app has been updated and your invitation can reach your guests through the updated app.

BUG FIXES:

The following issues have been fixed:

  • Users with all 3 permissions (administrator, scheduler, and healthcare professional) could not return to their view in messaging when they stopped to schedule for others.
  • Active” toggle for healthcare professionals working in drop-in was turning back to inactive state when the user was refreshing the view
  • The error handling of the maximum number of characters entered in a message in conversation was handled incorrectly.

Administrators

    ⚠️Please note that this feature is available in your platform today, but will be effective on Monday, April 6th, when the patient app has been updated and your invitation can reach your guests through the updated app.

BUG FIXES:

The following issues have been fixed:

  • Users with all 3 permissions (administrator, scheduler, and healthcare professional) could not return to their view in messaging when they stopped to schedule for others.
  • Global administrators being able to create a form without a name.
  • Default texts are now again shown for Texts: Web when clicking the Default texts button in the text editing view.
  • “Yes” and “No” is now filled in automatically when adding a Yes/No-question to a form.

NEW FUNCTIONS:

  • Patients in Android and iOS will now occasionally be asked to rate and review the app in app store/google play store after the end of a video call. This should bring up the rating of your app and give you more feedback about your virtual clinic.

IMPROVEMENTS:

Android

  • Categories are now also shown when searching for a practice in the app.
  • Patients now get a clearer confirmation when an image has been successfully downloaded
  • The error message shown when the time you’re trying to book is no longer available has been made more user-friendly.

iOS

BUG FIXES:

The following issues have been fixed:

Android

  • Numerous rare issues causing the app to crash.
  • Fixed calls in drop-in rooms not coming through if the app was in the background.
  • App no longer crashes if you click the log in button twice before entering the registration.
  • Cancellation notifications were sent out when clicking the Cancel button during payment.
  • Change practice button is no longer shown if there are no visible practices.
  • Motorola One Action was not ringing when the patient was on lock screen and the healthcare professional tried to reconnect to the call after terminating it.
  • Danish flag added to language selection view.
  • SMS were sent in the wrong language if a patient logged in on multiple devices at the same time with different languages selected in the app.
  • The view of selecting digital or physical appointment was flashing by if the physical locations were activated but not available for booking.
  • Mandatory fields (phone number/e-mail) were not applying to anonymous drop-in rooms.
  • The wrong colours were showing on forms in a messaging conversation.

iOS

  • Calls in drop-in rooms were not coming through if the app was in the background.
  • Cancellation notifications were sent out when clicking the Cancel button during payment.
  • Checkbox was hidden on small screens (iPhone SE) when trying to accept the privacy policy.
  • Forms after a call were not showing up for anonymous drop-in visit

Web

  • Calls in drop-in rooms were not coming through if the app was in the background.
  • Cancellation notifications were sent out when clicking the Cancel button during payment.
  • Links in the call chat are now shown correctly and are clickable.
  • The price is no longer displayed as zero when starting a new messaging conversation with no payment settings, instead of showing 0 SEK.
